The man who drove into GP Dr Peter Dunne five years ago has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

Thomas Hill, 37, was a neighbour of Dr Dunne when they crossed paths in early 2019, prosecutor Elizabeth Kelso told the Brisbane Supreme Court.

Mr Hill had believed that his neighbours were out to get him, and he had been sleeping in a car with his mother while sporadically returning to their house in the early hours.

One morning, Mr Hill had been acting angrily towards his mother when he felt that Dr Dunne was staring at them, according to Ms Kelso.
