Many unvaccinated kids lack antibodies after COVID-19

Most children and adolescents do not have COVID-19 antibodies in their blood after recovering from a SARS-CoV-2 infection, new data have confirmed.
US researchers in Texas recruited 218 subjects between the ages of five and 19 who had recovered from COVID-19 infections at some point in the past.
The study was designed to detect the presence of antibodies, not the amount of antibodies.
Each provided three blood samples, at two to three-month intervals over a period of six to eight months.
