Measles cases climb by 79% worldwide: WHO
More than half the countries in the world will be at 'high risk' of outbreaks by the end of this year, the health agency says.
Measles cases around the globe have climbed 79%, with over 300,000 cases reported last year, WHO officials said Tuesday.
The UN health agency said it expected more than half of the world’s countries to be at high or very high risk of outbreaks by the end of the year, owing to patchy immunisation.
