Two doctors have become sick with coronavirus after attending a workshop in Sydney, alongside 83 other health professionals.

One of the doctors, aged 53, has been in intensive care in Westmead Hospital for several days.

NSW Health officials announced on Wednesday night that a second doctor, a female registrar from Liverpool hospital, also has COVID-19 after attending the same radiology seminar on 18 February.

“We have had tracing going on,” NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard told reporters on Thursday.
