Medicinal cannabis wholesaler launches rewards program for pharmacies

Medicinal cannabis distributor Leafio is offering discounts and CPD to win over pharmacists.

A medicinal cannabis distribution company is launching a supermarket rewards–style loyalty program that gives pharmacy owners discounts on certain products.

Leafio is a division of Australian cannabis behemoth Montu and distributes cannabis products from various manufacturers, as well as its own products, such as Sierra Blaze and Interstellar.  

This month, it announced a loyalty program for pharmacies to receive discounts or free access to CPD courses based on each dollar they spend — before the discounts apply — every 90 days.

The gold tier rewards band gives pharmacists a 10% discount on Montu’s own cannabis products and 5.5% off cannabis products by other manufacturers, plus four complimentary memberships to Montu’s CPD website, Saged.
