MediSecure: GP prescription software hit by ransomware hack
MediSecure was one of two major prescription exchanges until the Federal Government moved to a sole provider last year.
MediSecure, the prescription software company that stopped processing PBS scripts last year, has been hit by a ransomware cyber attack.
Neither the company nor the government have confirmed exactly what data was stolen, but MediSecure said “the personal and health information of individuals” was hacked.
