Dr Donna Tanchev admits the budget was blown on the interiors for her vision of a spa-like general practice.

Patients entering Dr Donna Tanchev’s general practice for the first time could think they had mistakenly arrived for a seaweed wrap or facial rather than a consult.

From the bright pink building to interiors featuring a curved rose quartz counter and plush seating, the practice is reminiscent of a luxurious day spa. 

It is the vision Dr Tanchev has had since her university days: an appealing space in which to offer women’s health consults. 

“I wanted it to be beautiful and stunning, and smell nice and look nice, in the same way as when you go to a spa or a hair salon,” she tells 6minutes
