Meet the public servant who helped guide you through the COVID-19 crisis

For almost three years, Dr Lucas de Toca has been the face of the primary care response to COVID-19.
But before his role as a public servant, he was a recently-arrived immigrant working in some of the most remote communities in Australia, where he says he was adopted by the local people.
