Membership overhaul will reap $9 million over two years: RACGP

The RACGP expects to add $8-9 million to its coffers over two years after shutting down various discount membership categories.
Last month, the college announced it would raise fees by 4.2% and whittle down its membership offerings to focus on two main categories — full fee and concessional — with a small number of discount categories for IMGs, registrars and doctors aged 70 or over.
The full fee has been set at $1567, the concessional fee at $940.
GPs earning less than $100,000 a year before tax from all revenue sources are eligible for concession rates.
