Moderna vaccine headed to GP practices within weeks, says Greg Hunt

Update 4.20pm: Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced this afternoon the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine had been granted provisional approval by the TGA.
He told Federal Parliament the first million doses would arrive next month.
GPs can expect to see Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine soon, with TGA approval for over-16s likely to come within the next fortnight, Greg Hunt says.
It comes as the company flags plans for a new global trial, which could involve Australian children as young as six months being inoculated with the mRNA vaccine.
