It’s still just a fraction of the 5100 practices tasked with administering the AstraZeneca vaccine

A million doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine arrived in Australia on Monday, to be followed by another million next week, in a boost to the nation’s troubled vaccine rollout.

More than 900 general practices are now offering the mRNA vaccine, up from 500 just two weeks ago, the Federal Government says.

It’s still just a fraction of the 5115 practices currently administering AstraZeneca’s vaccine.

But the government says it still wants all practices in the rollout to eventually offer both vaccines.
