More evidence that goat’s milk soap can spark new-onset food allergy

A report from the Royal Melbourne Hospital strengthens the association between goat's milk skin care and anaphylaxis after ingesting goat's milk or cheese

Australian immunology and allergy specialists have renewed warnings about skincare products containing goat’s milk, after seven patients experienced adult-onset anaphylaxis after eating cheese or dips. 

After noting an increase in presentations at their clinic following reactions to goat’s milk or cheese, the clinicians conducted a retrospective audit of all positive immunoglobulin E (IgE) results specific to these products.
