New RACGP president pledges to heal college divisions

The RACGP’s new president says the college was “shocked” by the backlash to its failed online fellowship exams.
Dr Karen Price formally began her two-year term on Monday night and is pledging in her to heal the divisions that have surfaced over recent months.
She said her role would be to guide the specialty through the “change and disruption” of COVID-19 — both inside and outside the college.
Key to that would be managing the fallout from the IT meltdown that forced the cancellation of its at-home fellowship exams in October, she said.
