The ACT government claims it will make it easier for the community to access diagnostic imaging services

The controversial nurse-led walk-in clinics in Canberra are getting a $11 million boost so they can order CT scans, ultrasounds and X-rays. 


The ACT Government’s announcement this week has angered doctors who have already labelled the clinics a waste of taxpayer money.

The government says the cash for imaging will "reduce wait times in emergency and make it easier for the community to access common diagnostic imaging services”.
