One in three GP practices in poorest suburbs locked out of patient enrolment scheme
Patients can start enrolling with their preferred GP practice in less than a week.
More than a third of practices in outer Sydney suburbs will miss out on the Federal Government’s patient enrolment cash because they are unaccredited, warns the chair of the AMA NSW Council of General Practice.
The MyMedicare enrolment scheme opens to patients in just four days, although GP practices have been able to register since 1 July.
