The OSCE is no more: Here’s how the RACGP’s new exam will work

Some 1200 candidates will sit the RACGP’s new fellowship exam in November.
Known as the Clinical Competency Exam, it replaces the longstanding OSCE and will be made up of case-based discussions conducted over Zoom, as well as the face-to-face clinical role play encounters.
The college says the new assessment will run over two weekends.
With enrolments less than two months away, Australian Doctor asked the RACGP’s new education services general manager, Rob LoPresti, to explain what candidates should expect.
