The RACGP has cancelled this year’s annual national conference, saying its members’ priorities are “elsewhere” as a result of COVID-19 and the vaccine rollout.

The GP21 conference had been scheduled to run in early September at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

But with travel restrictions still in place around the country, it was pushed back to November, with an online-only format.

The college now says it has decided to shelve the event entirely.
