A forestry worker has won the right to worker’s compensation after a tribunal ruled his debilitating constipation was caused by GP-prescribed codeine.

The 59-year-old’s bowel symptoms were due to opiate medication use, most commonly Panadeine Forte, the SA Employment Tribunal found.
