That is what GP Dr Terri-Lynne South saw during the 2022 semaglutide shortages and in the years since.
“I had a number of patients who had to change from one GLP-1 receptor agonist to another, and others who had no access. That was where you saw the real devastation,” Dr South tells AusDoc.
“For some, it was the first time in their lives they had significant weight loss without extreme dieting.
