Paul Wappett says he was ‘escorted from the premises’ after being sacked by RACGP board

Former CEO says the manner of his exit was 'unnecessary and humiliating'.

Two weeks ago, AusDoc revealed that Paul Wappett, the RACGP’s CEO, had left the organisation.

There followed a media briefing by the college’s chair Dr Lara Roeske, who said the reasons for his departure were confidential out of respect for Mr Wappett’s privacy.
