The definition of a GP used for state payroll tax amnesties has raised questions over whether IMGs, registrars or other doctors still working towards GP fellowship will be rejected.

Under their payroll tax amnesties for practices, the Queensland Revenue Office and RevenueSA both define GPs as “doctors registered as GPs with the Medical Board of Australia”.
