Pete Evans says Dr Harry Nespolon’s death ‘speaks volumes’ about medical expertise

The RACGP is calling for Pete Evans to retract comments implying that the late Dr Harry Nespolon didn’t know how to “deal with” his illness.
Mr Evans, the outspoken former TV chef, referred to the death of the RACGP president from pancreatic cancer during an interview with a candidate from the Informed Medical Options Party running in the Queensland state election.
In the 47-minute video, Mr Evans said he had been upset when Dr Nespolon had publicly urged him to seek support from a GP when he was axed from his TV show My Kitchen Rules.
Mr Evans said the comments had resulted in him being “laughed at and ridiculed” in the media.
