Pharmacist who founded telehealth cannabis business banned from dispensing cannabis

A pharmacist who founded online medicinal cannabis clinic Dispensed has had conditions put on his registration banning him from dispensing cannabis.
Under Pharmacy Board of Australia conditions imposed on 14 August, Melbourne pharmacist Adam Younes must not “supply, administer, handle, dispense or check” medicinal cannabis.
Mr Younes must also allow AHPRA to seek reports from a senior colleague “at each and every place of practice on a monthly basis or as otherwise required”, according to the conditions.
Reasons for the ban were not listed on AHPRA’s public register.
