Pharmacists banned after supplying prescription drugs to health food store

Two pharmacists have been banned after dispensing prescription medications to a shop owner who was “effectively onselling” them at her health food store.
Under a deal that ran for more than three years before a police raid, Thanh Ngoc Khanh Van Trinh was at one point given free rein to place her own prescription drug orders through the Sydney pharmacy’s wholesale portal.
The medications given to her under the agreement included pregabalin, metformin, tramadol, amisulpride and rosuvastatin.
The NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal was told that Ms Trinh gave the money from selling them to owner Jason Vuong, but pocketed $3 for each item she sold on.
