The Pharmacy Guild of Australia and the RACGP are waging an emoji-filled war of words on LinkedIn and Facebook over a four-second radio clip of college president Dr Michael Wright.

On Wednesday, the guild’s LinkedIn account posted a soundbite of Dr Wright, which it labelled ‘RACGP president on pharmacist prescribing’.

“You know, isn’t it just making our job easier? And look, I’m all for that,” Dr Wright says in the clipped audio.

The guild captioned the post, “Well said, Dr Wright,” followed by two clapping hands emojis.
