Philip Morris attempts to buy company making inhalers to treat lung disease

Australian doctors could boycott dry powder inhalers developed by Vectura if the notorious tobacco giant Philip Morris succeeds in taking over the company.
Philip Morris launched a bid for the UK firm that specialises in inhaler technology, including about 10 inhalers marketed in Australia, back in July.
Vectura shareholders will cast a vote on the attempted acquisition by Wednesday.
The Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand said doctors wouldn’t want to prescribe a treatment if it meant profiting Big Tobacco.
