Practice managers’ association rejects ‘inaccurate’ claims amid threat to oust board
The national practice management association has labelled criticism of its leadership as unwarranted and inaccurate amid a campaign to vote on removing its board and CEO.
A document now circulating among practice managers on social media claims members are concerned about alleged governance issues at the Australian Association of Practice Management (AAPM).
The requisition, drawn up by Brisbane-based practice manager Courtney Purse, calls for a Special General Meeting where members could ask the AAPM’s leaders for a response, followed by a vote on whether to remove the leadership.
It claims a growing number of problems have emerged within the organisation since the mass resignation of the association’s NSW committee in 2023, including allegations that the AAPM has not provided enough support to state committees.
