But it says the Federal Government should reward GPs for the uploads via a new PIP payment

The RACGP says it should be mandatory for GPs to report patient vaccinations to the national immunisation register, but it wants a new Practice Incentives Program payment to cover the additional workload.

The Federal Department of Health is planning to make it compulsory from March next year to record influenza vaccines, along with any new COVID-19 vaccine, in the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).
