RACGP board blocks member vote to keep Dr Harry Nespolon as president
The proposal was deemed potentially too controversial for the college membership
RACGP members will get to vote for a new president this year, after the college’s board rejected a proposal to keep Dr Harry Nespolon in the role until 2021.
The college board announced last week it was considering holding an EGM to decide whether to extend Dr Nespolon’s presidential term due to the uncertainties created by the COVID-19 threat.
