RACGP cuts staff after multimillion-dollar deficit revealed
Dr Nicole Higgins said cuts were necessary so the college did not 'end up where we have been before'
The RACGP will axe over 50 jobs as it faces the prospect of a multimillion-dollar deficit due to COVID-19 and inflation.
The job cuts amount to 7-8% of its total workforce or 15% of jobs outside of GP training, which has been shielded from the axe.
