RACGP draft standards ‘more red and green tape’ for overworked GP staff, says practice owner
However, college president Dr Nicole Higgins says the draft standards could save practices money by cutting waste.
The RACGP’s draft accreditation standards show a “fundamental misunderstanding of how we can deliver value in general practice”, a prominent practice owner says.
The college released a 115-page draft of its sixth-edition accreditation standards last week, which GP practices would have to follow to access the $500 million Practice Incentives Program.
