RACGP election: Will you stick with the college campaign to ditch universal bulk-billing?

This week, AusDoc puts the questions to the GPs vying for the college's top job

Last year, RACGP president Dr Karen Price took the unprecedented step of calling on GPs to ditch universal bulk-billing where possible.

It was controversial move for some given the college’s traditional focus on standards and education. Greg Hunt, the Federal Health Minister at the time, said he was “disappointed” with the exhortation.

With the election underway to find the successor to Dr Price, we asked the candidates whether they will continue the college’s campaign if elected.
