RACGP fellowship exam resits go off with barely a hitch

Dr Genevieve Yates has thanked the candidates and those who supported them

The RACGP has deemed the resit of its written fellowship exams a success, with no major interruptions impacting the doctors taking the tests.

Some 1260 candidates took a pen-and-paper version of the Key Feature Problem (KFP) on Friday, two months after being forced to abort it due to an IT meltdown.

The next day, 1095 candidates sat the Applied Knowledge Test (AKT), which had also been cancelled after the technical issues.

The resits were held at 55 venues across Australia.
