It hopes to overcome the risks of the IT meltdown which occurred during last year's home-based KFP

The RACGP plans to revive its online fellowship exams next year and says it is looking at a possible return to home-based testing.

Last year, technical issues derailed the college’s first ever online ‘at-home’ version of the Key Feature Problem (KFP) exam, leaving some 1400 candidates in limbo.

After several hours of trying to fix an IT malfunction, the exam was aborted, and the Applied Knowledge Test (AKT), due to take place the next day, cancelled.

The RACGP has since relied on a pen-and-paper version of the exam.
