The RACGP has granted doctors 25 bonus CPD points for the second-year running in acknowledgement of their “tireless work” during the pandemic.

It says the points, equivalent to 12.5 hours of non-accredited educational activities, were added to members’ accounts earlier this month.

The move is in recognition of the continued fast-tracked education required by GPs, the college said, including their pivotal role in the delivery of COVID-19 vaccines.

As of Monday, GPs had delivered 19.8 million of the 39 million COVID-19 vaccine doses administered nationally.
