RACGP training numbers rebound but 116 places still vacant

GP training numbers have rebounded, with the RACGP filling 1261 of its 1377 Australian General Practice Training places for this year.
It arrests a slump.
Only 1167 of 1350 training places were filled last year, with this year’s shortfall solely related to vacancies in the college’s rural training pathway.
AusDoc has yet to receive this year’s figures from ACRRM, which is responsible for a further 154 training places.
