RACP rebel board dismantled as AGM gets green light
An AGM to oversee the changing of the guard at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians will go ahead on Friday, following a series of agreements before the NSW Supreme Court today.
The AGM will see the appointment of six new board directors, including a new president-elect, Melbourne paediatrician Dr Julian Kelly.
The court agreements mean current president Professor Jennifer Martin, who was voted out by members in a controversial EGM last month, will not be involved.
It marks the end of her turbulent presidency.
