RACP still investigating Dr Sharmila Chandran’s alleged EGM ‘disruption’ as new era begins
The regulator-appointed chair of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians has provided some clarity on the college's future.

As her tumultuous two years as president of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians draw to a close, Professor Jennifer Martin says the college is continuing an investigation into the alleged “disruption” by her rival during last month’s EGM.
Last month, Professor Martin was subject to an EGM vote by members to remove her as president.
Based on the results announced, she lost, but the vote has yet to be formally ratified by the college following a chaotic meeting that included NSW Police being called in.
