Recently retired GPs given green light to return to practise
General practices can now bring in GPs on the pandemic sub-register as part of their COVID-19 response
Recently retired doctors have been given the nod to temporarily return and fill workforce gaps under changes to AHPRA’s pandemic sub-register.
Until now, the 3176 retired doctors on the sub-register have only been allowed to administer COVID-19 vaccine.
