Rip-off allegations fly as British surgeon paid $15,000 to cover for striking colleagueÂ

It didn’t take long for the ‘greedy doctor’ accusations to begin surfacing in response to the first mass walkout by doctors working in England’s NHS.
Both junior and consultant doctors have begun a three-day strike as part of a long-running fight with the government over pay.
Junior doctors are asking for an increase to match the 35% decline in wages over the last 15 years, which according to the British Medical Association, would represent an increase of £14 ($26) to £19 ($36) an hour for a 40-hour week.
Senior doctors are asking for a rise of 12%.
