De-identified prescribing data from more than 4000 GPs are expected to be handed over to Australia’s main safety agency after the Federal Government axed funding for NPS MedicineWise.
On Wednesday, NPS MedicineWise called for a review of the budget decision to axe its taxpayer funding — worth some $25 million a year — arguing it could undermine patient safety.
