Self-described misogynist doctor apologises for ‘dumb’ study

An emergency physician who believed he was better at intubation than his female peers because he was stronger has issued a heartfelt apology after his attempt to correct his misogyny went horribly wrong.

Dr Joonghee Kim, from the Seoul National University Bundang Hospital in South Korea, landed in hot water when his paper that set out to prove females were just as good as men when it came to first-pass intubation was published in American Journal of Emergency Medicine.
