Senator David Pocock has been in politics for just two years, yet is casually dropping references to the Modified Monash Model and Denmark’s health spending to GDP ratio.  

The former rugby union star beat Labor and the Coalition to take one of the ACT’s two federal Senate seats in 2022, with a platform focused on climate change, conservation and human rights.

Since then, he has played a key role on the Senate committee tasked with interrogating health legislation and spending.
