A popular orthopaedics textbook used in medical schools that includes images of a woman wearing a see-through bra to illustrate how to examine the brachial plexus has been dubbed ‘sexist soft porn’.

Published in 2002, Advanced Examination Techniques in Orthopaedics also includes pictures of another woman wearing the same top with red underwear for a foot examination while the men are depicted in shirt and tie.
