Hundreds of medical professionals are warning that the planned National Preventative Health Strategy will fail if it doesn’t include action on climate change.

The 10-year strategy is currently being developed with public feedback.

However, climate change isn’t mentioned in the paper — at all — according to the Climate and Health Alliance.

This came as a shock to Fiona Armstrong, executive director of Climate and Health Alliance that gathered 30 health organisation together to sign a joint statement calling on Minister for Health Greg Hunt to rectify the omission.
