Six corporates under PSR investigation for alleged rorting

Six corporates are being investigated for potentially rorting Medicare, the PSR says.
Historically, the watchdog has limited its investigations to individual doctors because it has judged them solely responsible for their billings.
However, it launched its first corporate probe two years ago following allegations of over-servicing of urgent after-hours Medicare items by the National Home Doctor Service.
And it has now revealed that other corporate investigations were launched during the last financial year.
