Specialist college warns of exam disruption over coronavirus concern
The college of radiologists will demand all candidates taking its exams involving face-to-face assessments sign declarations that they have not travelled to any COVID-19-affected country with community transmission in the previous month.
And it says anyone exhibiting flu-like symptoms on the day of the tests will be turned away and required to apply for a deferment.
The move by Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) will affect examiners as well as registrars and those IMGs being assessed by the college to work as specialist radiologists.
In says nine IMGs are due to sit assessments on March 19 and 20 involving interviews and technical assessments in clinical radiology and radiation oncology.
