State governments are expected to fund GP practices and pharmacies to administer influenza vaccines to millions of children and adults not currently eligible on the National Immunisation Program.

On Monday, the Queensland Premier announced via a Twitter post that it would be offering vaccines to patients, causing chaos as patients started turning up a practices demanding their ‘free’ shot.
