The new financial year brings to an end COVID-19 MBS services, hence AusDoc’s rebranded Telehealth MBS Quick Guide.
From 1 July, the remaining MBS items for COVID-19 vaccination services will no longer be available.
Another big change for FY26 is the overhaul of chronic disease management items, with the telehealth items for GPMP/TCA and reviews (92024, 92025 and 92028) replaced by telehealth GP chronic condition management plan (GPCCMP) and review items (92029 and 92030).
Rebates have also increased with indexation for the new financial year.
