Prime Minister Scott Morrison has backed handing out free booze to those administered COVID-19 vaccines, labelling the TGA’s latest crackdown on a pub “a bit heavy-handed”.

The Prince Alfred Hotel in Port Melbourne ran a ‘free pots for shots’ offer last week before being told by the watchdog on Tuesday to stop because the promotion wasn’t legal.
